I began my legal career in 1994 at the prestigious law firm of Irell & Manella LLP, where I practiced litigation and employment law.
Because of my passion for employment law, in 1997, I joined Paul Hastings LLP, an international law firm with one of the premier employment law departments in the world. In November 2005, I was elected to be a full equity partner. I received invaluable training and experience at Paul Hastings.
In April 2008, I resigned from Paul Hastings and opened my own law practice. My goal is to provide first-rate employment law legal services to my clients.
During my legal career, I've represented clients in areas such as discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, whistleblower claims, and wage and hour violations, and have successfully handled arbitrations and jury trials. I've appeared in proceedings before the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Department of Labor Standards Enforcement. I'm licensed to practice in all courts in the State of California, as well as the federal courts in the Ninth Circuit.
I have a comprehensive understanding of employment law and have authored several publications, including a comprehensive chapter in the Thomson-West Attorney reference book covering all aspects of California discrimination law.
I'm a member of the California Bar, the Labor and Employment Law Section of the California Bar, the California Employment Lawyers Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, and the Beverly Hills Bar Association.
I work closely with my clients to help resolve employment law matters such as discrimination, harassment, or retaliation in the workplace. I can provide legal advice, employment mediation or help you bring an employment law case to court.
